What makes this different from a standard MF NFO
₹10L minimum is aggregated at PAN level, not per scheme
If you already hold ₹10L in another APEXSIF strategy, you don't need a fresh ₹10L for this fund — the threshold applies across all SIF strategies from the same AMC under your PAN.
Accredited investors are exempt from the ₹10L threshold
Individuals with ₹2Cr+ annual income, or ₹7.5Cr+ net worth (with ₹3.75Cr+ in financial assets), qualify as accredited investors under SEBI norms and can invest below the standard minimum.
Unhedged short exposure capped at 25% of net assets
This is a SEBI-wide cap on all SIF long-short strategies. Hedging and rebalancing positions don't count toward this limit — only the directional short book does.

Standard SIF Concentration Limits
Regardless of strategy, all SIFs are subject to concentration limits, capping equity allocation to 15% in a single security, fixed-income exposure to 20% (up to 25% with board approval) in a single issuer, and REIT/InvIT exposure to 20%. Cumulative gross exposure across all markets cannot exceed 100% of net assets, prohibiting leverage at the net level.

The Investment strategy seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments, including limited short exposure through derivatives.
Liquidity & investment restrictions
SIP, STP, and SWP permitted, provided your aggregate SIF balance stays at or above ₹10,00,000
Open-ended structure — invest or redeem any business day after allotment
Partial redemptions not allowed if remaining investment would fall below ₹10,00,000 — only full redemption permitted in that case
Applications cannot be cancelled once submitted and funds are blocked for allotment
NAV disclosed daily by 11:00 PM; portfolio disclosed every alternate month
